Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon

A couple weeks ago I visited one of my friends in Birmingham. She lives in this lovely city in England, which is about one and a half hours away from London by train.
Of course I was obsessed with the architecture, since I love the old buildings as much as the modern ones. The canal and the house boats are so cozy when we walked around, it reminded me of Amsterdam so much. So interesting when the traditional and modern cityscape are mixed in one city also the diversity of culture is amazing in Birmingham. Mostly we walked around the city and went for some sightseeing.
One day we went to visit Shakespeare’s hometown which is called Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a small traditional English village where everything is about Shakespeare. Me and my friend visited the Tudor Museum, what introduced the dynasty and the Tudor era. It was so interesting, mainly I love everything about history. Because of the cool weather we drank a cup of hot chocolate and tea in a nice place. We had lots of fun. When I go to trips like this, I always recognize how much I love Great Britain. 🙂
